FLEA CONTROL PREPARATION SHEET

It will be helpful and necessary for the following preparations to be completed PRIOR TO the arrival of your Pest Control Technician. Upon arrival, your technician will inspect to ensure ALL PREPARATIONS ARE COMPLETE for your protection. Your technician will explain your regular service, and what you need to do if you need a re-treatment service, prevention guidelines, sanitation and our treatment policy. During any pest control process you will be required to vacate your property for 3 ½ -4 hours.

 

INTERIOR FLEA TREATMENT:

 

  1. For flea infestation, ALL carpets, baseboards, and pet areas will need to be treated.
  2. PRIOR TO TREATMENT, vacuum all carpet areas thoroughly then EMPTY OR THROW OUT vacuum bag or filter in a trash can OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE.
  3. Strip all beds and wash bedding and sheets AFTER treatment. This will get rid of any chemical that may have come in contact with the bedding.
  4. ALL ANIMALS MUST BE FLEA DIPPED OR TREATED as recommended by a licensed veterinarian or animal groomer.
  5. After (12) twelve hours, vacuum carpeted areas, then EMPTY OR THROW OUT vacuum bag or filter in a trash can OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE.
  6. ALL PETS (cats, dogs, birds, rodents, reptiles, etc.) MUST BE removed from the house and yard area until treatment areas have dried and has become safe for the occupants to re-enter.
  7. FISH TANKS must be covered, sealed with tape and covered with a plastic bag. Pumps/ Motors should be covered and turned off just before the treatment begins.
  8. BIRDS MUST BE REMOVED FOR AT LEAST 24 HOURS.
  9. CLOSE ALL windows prior to all services.
  10. Your Pest Control Technician will perform an inspection of the home before you leave to make sure everything is covered and the areas to be services are available for access.
  11. All door and windows should be locked except the door that is needed for entry. Yard gates should be unlocked.
  12. A doctor’s release is required for patients with heart conditions and anyone that have allergies to chemicals.
  13. ALL PREGNANT WOMEN AND CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF (3) THREE MONTHS MUST BE VACATED FROM THE PROPERTY FOR 24 HOURS. PLEASE CONSULT A PHYSICIAN PRIOR TO SERVICE FOR APPROVAL.

FINAL STEPS IN COMPLETING THE INSIDE SERVICE:

OUTSIDE SERVICE:

The exterior perimeter of your home will be treated up to 15 to 20 feet maximum for the treatment of the present infestation. Watering the lawn the night before the treatment will help with heavy infestation of fleas and ants.

RE-ENTRY OF STRUCTURE:

 

Before re-entry, OPEN ALL windows and turn on all fans, while aeration is being done. DO NOT STAY IN THE HOUSE WHILE AREATION IS BEING DONE. It is recommended that you allow adequate time to complete aeration (approximately 1-2 hours) before you re-enter the structure.

It is our intention to give you the best Pest Control Service possible and the quickest results possible. Due to many factors in the control of different pest, we will advise you to what control you can expect to achieve in the various areas treated. Some areas will take longer due to weather conditions, normal cleaning and sanitation, watering the lawn, etc. If the infestation is still present after 5 to 7 days after initial treatment, a re-treatment can be safely done to control the infestation. Please call 619-582-7378, to schedule a re-treatment service. All one time service, come with a 30 day warranty, unless specified otherwise. Rodent services come with a 30 day warranty or a 3 trip return policy, unless specified otherwise.
